Chainsaw Chains Are A Powerful Device
May 1, 2009 by Robert
Chainsaw chains are the answer to the need for a powerful cutting device. Before chainsaw chains, people had to use saws that were powered by muscle alone. These straight blades were not easy to use and could be stuck easily in items at the wrong angle.
Chainsaw chains were invented by Bernard Heine and it was in 1830, that chainsaw chains first made their appearance. The device, on which a chainsaw chain was featured, was the osteotome. The cutting action of the osteotome was powered by a handle. The osteotome was a surgical tool and first cutting tool to use a chain with cutting teeth.
Since then, chainsaw chains all take their basic design from Bernard Heine’s invention. The Heine chain was a device that revolutionized the way that cutting could be done. In 1926, Andreas Stihl unveiled and began to produce the Stihl chainsaw for the public. This early version of the Stihl chainsaw had a motor, which powered the chain.
A Basic And Enduring Design
Since then there have been many chainsaw designers and manufacturers who continue to use chainsaw chains in their basic design. The chainsaw has a great design for the quick movement around the cutting blade. The chainsaw chain is a versatile device that can be customized to work on a smaller or larger tool. Homeowners, hobbyists and industrial users all appreciate the design and usability of chainsaw chains.
The chainsaw chain is a dangerous cutting tool that must be treated with care. It is important that you follow the manufacturer’s directions for use and care of your chainsaw. Wear protective clothing, goggles and a helmet when you use a chainsaw. This will protect you in case of an accident. With the proper care and storage, you will be able to use your chainsaw for a long time.
Chainsaws Have Great Cutting Power
The hand-powered chainsaws of the early days have been replaced with gasoline and electric models. The gasoline models are great for outdoors, the electric models are best for in the city use, and at home, where an electrical outlet is not far away. As a powerful tool, the chainsaw is one of the fastest tools for speeding up hard cutting jobs. This allows the worker to spend more time on other tasks involved with their project.
Chainsaw chains are powerful enough to cut through wood and other thick objects. Chainsaw chains enable the user to make their cuts quickly and repetitively without tiring.
