Echo is the best known of the Japanese chainsaw manufacturers and much like other Japanese products, Echo chainsaws have acquired a reputation as among the best chainsaws around. Their elegantly simple design has allowed Echo chainsaws to stay competitive with many of the bigger names in the market. While some people are drawn to all of the extra features offered by higher priced brands like Husqvarna, it is Echo's very simplicity which has won it a large and loyal fan base.

Why People Love Echo

Echo chainsaws are very powerful yet compact saws; in fact, they are by far the most powerful saws of their size available. Echo's commitment to keeping it simple and making a low profile saw has yielded results; the company has actually been taking some market share away from Husqvarna and other larger companies. Not that the big names don't make some great saws themselves, but Echo's simple design and impressive function have won a lot of people over – they just cut and the do it as well or better than the competitor's products (and isn't cutting just what a chainsaw's supposed to do?).

Chainsaw Carving

Chainsaw carvers have also been charmed by Echo chainsaws. Chainsaw sculptors work with logs and a chainsaw and they appreciate a small, easy to use chainsaw with a lot of power – exactly what Echo has to offer. Echo's small and efficient chainsaws have even inspired many of their competitors to start creating smaller models themselves! Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, even in the world of chainsaws.
Home users make up a large part of the market for Echo chainsaws.

For the Home Owner

Most home users just need something simple and lightweight and Echo, above all has always been known for knowing what their customers want and providing it to them. It's an approach which has always served the company (and the consumer) well.

Home users and professionals have both found the lightweight, compact design of Echo chainsaws to be far easier to work with. Of course, a smaller chainsaw is also generally a safer chainsaw – quite a few chainsaw injuries stem from using a large, heavy chainsaw for an extended period.

Professionals love the power and the quality of Echo chainsaws; and home users and artists appreciate their light and user-friendly design. Echo chainsaws are a simple, powerful cutting tool with something to offer nearly everyone who has a need for a chainsaw at work, in the studio or around the home.
